WHAT IS THE PURPOSE FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA?

The personal data that we request will be processed by the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, with the following purposes:

  1. Manage registration, ticket sales, raffles and attendance and participation of users in the modality and contest or event selected both in person and online. In the latter case, the event may be recorded to make it available to attendees.
  2. Manage the provision of the rental service of spaces in Fairs and Contests or offices in our facilities, as well as the management of services to exhibitors in our own and third-party events.
  3. Manage the subscription to our newsletter.
  4. Respond to queries or requests for information by the user.
  5. Promote and disseminate the activities and events organized by FYCMA by capturing the images of event attendees in an accessory way as well as other audiovisual content for publication on our website and Social Networks: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram, LinkedIn, or in printed or audiovisual promotional information as well as information on the activities and events organized by FYCMA for its promotion through the media.
  6. Send you communications regarding the activities and services provided by the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga or collaborating entities that may be of interest to you according to the elaboration of profiles generated from the preferences you indicate. These informative activities will be carried out by any electronic means, either own media or through Google remarketing services and social networks.

WHAT IS THE LEGITIMACY WITH WHICH WE TREAT YOUR DATA?

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the fulfillment of the contractual obligations that the user assumes when requesting their registration in an event or requesting our services of rental of spaces in the different modalities, as well as our services for exhibitors, for  which the user declares that he has sufficient legal capacity to contract and that he has sufficient legal age for the processing of his personal data without  Need for consent from a legal representative (over 14 years old). 

The user registered for our online events gives his express consent to, where appropriate, the recording of his participation in the online event, in case of using the communication tools (video, audio, chat) made available on the platform where the event takes place that, in compliance with data protection regulations (privacy by design), They will be disabled by default. The legitimacy of this treatment is therefore based on the consent given by the user in these terms. 

The legal basis for the processing of data for commercial purposes of the users of our events, subscribers to the newsletter and professional contacts that have not been provided directly by the owner, is the consent granted by the interested party when marking or giving the corresponding authorization. You can revoke this consent at any time. 

The processing of data for commercial purposes of clients and professional contacts provided directly by the interested party will be treated based on the legitimate interest of FYCMA in continuing to maintain a professional / commercial relationship with them, to which the interested party may oppose at any time through the procedure detailed in the section exercise of rights. 

The legal basis for the use of the image and other audiovisual content for the promotion of the activity of our entity, the elaboration of profiles according to the preferences indicated to us and the treatment of the contact data of journalists is the legitimate interest of our company in disseminating through internal and external media the activities organized by our entity and because they are treatments for compliance of a mission of public interest in the field of action of FYCMA.

WHICH RECIPIENTS WILL YOUR DATA BE COMMUNICATED TO?

In certain cases, we may communicate the contact details of visitors to fairs, events and events to exhibitors or collaborators of the specific event indicating what they are in each case, for the purpose of commercial promotion on their part, for which you must authorize us by checking the box enabled for this purpose. 

For events organized by FYCMA and held in facilities of third parties, the identification data of the attendees may be communicated to these third entities with the sole purpose of guaranteeing the security of access and the facilities in which the events will take place. 

The images contained in our website and social networks may be viewed by any follower of our activity in them. 

In events sponsored by public funds and in order to comply with the contractual obligations undertaken in the sponsorship agreement entered into between our entity and the sponsoring entity, in addition to the legal obligation of the latter in compliance with the applicable regulations for the use of such public funds, the personal details of the participant in the event (company name, participant´s name, surnames, identity document/taxpayer number (DNI/CIF) must be provided to the sponsoring entity in order to comply with the economic justification phase conducted by the body entrusted with controlling the use of such public funds.

HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR DATA? 

The data provided will be kept if our business or professional relationship is maintained and will subsequently be blocked for a period of 5 years available only to Courts and Tribunals to address possible claims, after which said data will be deleted. 

The data provided for the sending of commercial communications and images for the promotion of the activities of our entity will be kept if you do not oppose the processing of your data for this purpose or request the CANCELLATION of commercial communications, a possibility that will be offered in each communication you receive. Once the cancellation of your data has been requested, they will be blocked for a period of 3 years, available only to Public Administrations, Courts, and Tribunals to address possible claims, after which said data will be deleted. 

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning you. In relation to your personal data you have the right to:

  1. Access to your personal data.
  2. Request to correct or delete your data.
  3. Request restriction of processing.
  4. Revoke the consent provided or oppose the processing of your data.
  5. Request data portability in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

If you have not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, you may file a claim with the Control Authority, Spanish Agency for Data Protection: www.aepd.es
